I don't think Mario is dead, but I do think they need to switch it up a bit. Wouldn't mind seeing an open-world game.
I like how you grouped all other countries together in a group and singled out the U.S., instead of making a fair opinion about each countried individually. I also like my incredible sense of sarcasm.
This whole story sounds fishy. Son claimed he didn't know it was costing money (yeah, right), father claiming he didn't know son's account was linked to his credit car (sure), and father claiming he didn't notice the activity for 6 months (wow).
Personally I check my accounts at least once a week. Cards that I don't use too often send statements once a month. This is a joke.
I don't want it to happen, but if Square-Enix should fall into financial trouble one day (and, looking at the state of Japanese game development, that's not really a stretch) I don't wanna hear any of their excuses. The game has been demanded for years, literally, and they have simply refused to give their supporters what they want. Graphical overhaul aside, we're talking about a project that needs no writers and no new music. It could easily be developed as a side project ...
Enough about this game. I'm not hating on it, just tired of hearing "nothing" updates. If and when the game is ready, they'll show us something. Enough of the empty announcements and teasers of announcements.

Stop making assumptions. I have a Wii, borrowed Galaxy 1 from a friend and bought Galaxy 2. Make a point so that we know you know what you're talking about.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, while good games, are not "the best" of anything, and people only continue to praise Nintendo's sugar-coated products because they remind them of their childhood.
I'm not reading this flamebait article. Until someone can prove to me that they can see the future I'll disregard anything that starts with "Why [BLANK] will fail".
